OUR FOCUS

Preservation first.
Yield with discipline.

Quality assets, controlled financing and currency management work together within a defined note structure.

Capital preservation

A portfolio built predominantly around Canadian and U.S. government bonds, alongside eligible high-grade securities. Maturity selection, a hold-to-maturity philosophy and structured oversight support the capital preservation objective.

Quality assets. Defined horizon. Ongoing oversight.

Enhanced fixed income

Bond income is combined with the spread available from lower-cost Swiss-franc financing. The strategy seeks to enhance income after financing, hedging and management costs, within a maximum 60% loan-to-value framework.

Bond income. Financing spread. Cost discipline.

Currency management

The note and investor payments are denominated in U.S. dollars. The CHF/USD financing exposure is fully hedged back to USD to address the currency mismatch created by the borrowing structure.

USD note. Hedged CHF financing. Clear currency exposure.

THE STRATEGY IN PRACTICE

Quality income.
A considered structure.

Four connected elements explain how the APS Fixed Income Note is designed to work.

  1. Quality bonds

Deploy capital into high-quality USD bonds, with a focus on government and eligible investment-grade issuers.

  2. Disciplined financing

Use CHF financing to capture an additional spread, subject to the 60% maximum LTV and ongoing monitoring.

  3. Currency hedging

Hedge the CHF/USD financing exposure back to USD, aligning the financing with the note currency.

  4. Independent oversight

Use an independent issuer, trustee and institutional custodian, with portfolio assets pledged to support note obligations.

APS FIXED INCOME NOTE

Minimum investment
USD 200,000

The 5.15% rate is the stated annual return under the note terms, net of confirmed financing and management costs. Payment and principal repayment remain subject to the governing documents and issuer performance.

Daily redemption requests are subject to the applicable notice period, pricing methodology, settlement timeline, costs and suspension provisions. A defined maturity does not make early exit unconditional.

RISK MANAGEMENT

Specific risks.
Deliberate controls.

The structure is designed to manage risk. Capital preservation is an objective, and capital remains at risk.

Market & liquidity risk

Maturity selection and a hold-to-maturity philosophy reduce reliance on short-term bond price movements. LTV monitoring, a dedicated reserve and stress testing provide additional controls.

Bond prices can still move. Financing requirements or redemptions can affect liquidity and may require asset sales.

Credit & counterparty risk

High-quality underlying bonds, pledged collateral, institutional custody and independent oversight support the structure.

Government and investment-grade securities still carry credit risk. Investors also rely on the note issuer and relevant financing, custody and hedge counterparties; security does not guarantee repayment.

Exchange rate risk

The financing hedge is designed to address the CHF/USD mismatch within the USD strategy.

Investors whose home currency is not USD may retain exchange rate exposure. Hedge effectiveness, costs and counterparty performance remain relevant.

What is the minimum investment amount?

The minimum investment is USD 200,000. We have no set maximum investment amount. Larger allocations are arranged individually, subject to product capacity and the applicable subscription requirements.

How do I track my investment?

Once held with your bank or investment platform, the investment appears on your statements alongside your other assets, with the latest available pricing. Pricing frequency and valuation methods depend on the product and your institution.

Can I work with Amati to create custom wealth solutions for my needs?

Yes. Amati works with family offices, high-net-worth individuals, funds, non-profits and corporations to develop bespoke bond portfolios and wealth solutions. Each engagement is designed around your needs, including your target return, investment horizon, liquidity requirements, currency and risk parameters.

Which Amati entity provides the Swiss offering?

Amati Partners Suisse SA is the Swiss entity named in this offering, with its office in Cham, in the Canton of Zug. Amati Capital Partners’ homepage describes the Canadian business advisory practice. For the fixed-income strategy and bespoke portfolio enquiries, contact the APS team using the enquiry link on this page.

How can treasury needs shape a fixed-income discussion?

Treasury planning starts with the purpose of the money. Operating liquidity, contingency reserves and capital available for a longer investment horizon have different requirements. We discuss when funds may be needed, the currency of future obligations and the liquidity that needs to remain available before considering an investment approach.

APS can discuss those objectives in the context of its fixed-income strategy and bespoke portfolio capabilities. Portfolio construction considers asset quality, maturity, currency exposure, financing and the risks described on this page. The product’s full documentation explains its structure, custody arrangements, eligibility and access-to-capital terms; those details should be reviewed with the appropriate advisers before investing.
